Get The Look: Mad Men

AMC's Mad Men has influenced everyone in fashion from Michael Kors to the design team behind Banana Republic. The look is chic, sophisticated and distinctly retro without feeling campy. Kors' Fall 2008 take on the show's sheath dresses and pearls-and-cardi glam were on the money - and cost a lot of it. To get the look for less, stop by The Yellow Button and follow these styling tips for a decidedly younger take on the show's signatures.

January Jones' separates have a housefrau vibe that doesn't jive with your average buttonista. Pair our gray bow neck top and abstract floral skirt from Tulle to get a similarly put-together effect without the Betty Crocker connotations.

Elisabeth Moss's dress has a similar neckline to our olive number from Hazel, but switch out the staid buffalo check for a neutral tone and sacrifice all of those buttons for a nice, wide belt to get a look that's more Sex And The City.

Christina Hendricks' curves work well with simple sheath dresses accessorized to perfection. Take our purple dress from Tulle and add a pop of color with a bright belt and, maybe, a vintage turquoise brooch. Our yellow Tulle dress has a fantastic shape and comes with its own waist-cincher, so spruce it up with a fantastic bag and the right pair of shoes.
